of Greater Tucson's Speaker Bureau?

The Speakers Bureau provides speakers to civic, religious and special interest groups. The speakers are members of the League. The topics range from an explanation of the Ballot Measures to health, education and environmental issues. Presentations can vary from a straightforward speech to an informal discussion. Every effort is made to address each issue in a balanced, nonpartisan manner. For additional information and a request form, click here.

The League of Women Voters®,a nonpartisan political organization encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The League of Women Voters®, established in 1920, promotes political responsibility through informed active participation in government at all levels. The League accomplishes this goal by:

Voter Service: registering voters, bringing information to the public through open and balanced forums and written materials.

Non-Partisan Policy: neither supporting nor opposing any candidate or political party.

Study and Advocacy: working for or against selected public issues after thorough study and only if there is agreement among members.
