The topics range from an explanation of the Ballot Measures to health, education and environmental issues. Presentations can vary from a straightforward speech to an informal discussion. The League of Women Voters®,a nonpartisan political organization encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Voter Service: registering voters, bringing information to the public through open and balanced forums and written materials.

Non-Partisan Policy: neither supporting nor opposing any candidate or political party.

Study and Advocacy: working for or against selected public issues after thorough study and only if there is agreement among members.
